‘good artists copy, great artists steal, smart artists allied’
This project is about tension between individual and collective and how visual habitus strongly influence a creative method of an artist these days. As an artist who works in an art collective, I have basic understanding about how we share everything in day to day interaction. That our idea, our artistic style or inventions are not fully one man’s sparks, it is beyond individual mind, it’s a communal creative power. An artist cannot live in a vacuum.
In this work, I try to use other’s idea, tool, and concept even properties, through a process of dialog, seeing each other working process, to compose these 10 videos.
