In Pekalongan, especially the northern area, the land sinks significantly around 0.5 cm per month,
this is thought to be the result of industrial activities that require a lot of water and the massive expansion of the property business using dug wells massively causing the land in vulnerable areas to sink.


Alam revisited the Bugisan village, where he spent his childhood, seeing and understanding how the residents produce the vernacular craftmanship and how to they are struggling in the vulnerable space, changing and adapting to maintain their life.
